Calendar Critics' Picks Members Pick
Small Treasures 

When: Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Continues through Dec. 24 2010
Local Color hosts its annual holiday exhibit, Small Treasures, tonight, and there’s a reason it’s the gallery’s most popular show of the year. It offers smaller, more affordable works that are the perfect size for gift-giving. All artists participating in the show have contributed works that are no larger than 8” x 10” in size. Now, many an art snob would cringe at an idea so blatantly commercial, but don’t be so quick to judge. Artists and art lovers alike stand to benefit from an arrangement that makes works more accessible and easy to acquire. Kim Barrick, Gay Petach, and Deborah Glasgow provide some of the highlights of this evening.
