Sin and Skin

Boo-lesque at The Belcourt

Boo-lesque at The Belcourt
Brothers and sisters, be warned: Combining the sinful indulgence of Music City Burlesque with the demonic spirits that permeate the Halloween season is a recipe for moral turpitude that has us outraged, indignant and squirming awkwardly in our seats. But hey, if you don't care if you burn in hell for eternity--that's like sitting through Billy: The Early Years times a bazillion--then go check out the leggy and lurid Kicky La Rue, the divine yet deviant Monique Honeybush (just saying her name fills me with shame and confusion), vivacious vixen Vera Va Voom, the fragrant and intoxicating Tequila Rose, the salacious and sadistic Sadie Twist, the luscious and lickable Miss Lolly Pop, Lil Cuzin Prudy Prissy Pants (a pseudonym that's wrong on sooo many levels) and the rest of these depraved, diabolical damsels of the damned. Wear a costume and you may win a prize--besides, do you want to risk being spotted in this modern-day Gomorrah?
