The gray skies and sporadic rain didn’t get in the way of last week’s Movies in the Park, and we’re hoping it’ll stay that way for the next few Wednesdays. This Friday, June 27, is the second Frist Friday at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, featuring music, food, drink and lots and lots of people. Last month’s inaugural event was phenomenally successful, so if you missed it, you’ve got another chance.... The Tennessee Jazz & Blues Society continues its Concert on the Lawn Series this Sunday at Belle Meade Plantation with “Violinsanity” featuring Peter Hyrka, Martin Norgaard and Tracy Silverman.... Those interested in seriously celebrating the opening of Legally Blonde 2 on July 2 are directed to Illusions Salon, which will observe National Blonde Day by offering free blonde hair transformations.
