This week is packed with noteworthy happenings, chief among them the arrival of Tibetan Buddhist monks from the Drepung Loseling Monastery. They’ll be taking part in several events, including the Mystical Arts of Tibet: Sacred Music, Sacred Dance concert March 25 at the Blair School of Music’s Ingram Center.... The Tennessee Environmental Council helps advocate for the environment and public health in our state—and it deserves your support. So get out to Cheekwood’s Botanic Hall on March 29, when the organization hosts its annual fundraising event, the Green Tie Affair.... April 8 will be Dining Out for Life night, when participating area restaurants will donate at least 20 percent of all customers’ bills to Nashville CARES, which works with people affected by HIV and AIDS.... Golfers are notified that Habitat for Humanity in Williamson County is looking for companies, churches and service clubs to sponsor a “champion golfer” from their organization for the annual Habitee Golf Marathon fundraiser, May 5 at the Country Club of Franklin.
