The second act of Watkins' three-part series, The Future of Fine Arts, presents three more senior thesis projects that range from memento mori to icons of excess to expressions of paranoia. With Altar-ed Memory, Kristine Marie Larsen explores her own ancestry through gravesite photography, while Mai Lick's Earthly Delights maps the fine line between appetite and addiction one painterly, canvas confection at a time. Adam Nicholson's drawings, sculpture, installation and videos serve as an appropriate parting shot to the Bush administration, exploring government secrecy, conspiracy theory and the unintended consequences of control.
Mondays-Sundays. Starts: Nov. 21. Continues through Nov. 30, 2008
