School Board Candidate Podcasts
With the exception of District 2 school board candidate Michael Kerstetter, who kept hanging up on us, all of those running for seats on the Metro school board agreed to sit down recently for individual interviews with the Scene’s Bruce Barry (and pinch-hit interviewer Liz Garrigan).
Those elected Aug. 3—when five of the nine school board posts are on the ballot—will become, effectively, members of the board of directors of a $500 million enterprise. Each candidate was asked the same set of questions, and each interview runs about 15 minutes. Here are the audio files of those interviews.
