Whatever your reason, The Basement’s fourth annual Sausagefest offers you a chance to get intimate with some big, juicy wieners. Or rather, not just wieners—the flyer promises “sausages from around the world.” But the evening’s entertainment shouldn’t be too cosmopolitan: It features a suitably all-American lineup of macho rock (Organ Thief, Hurts to Laugh, Los Sausages) and a beauty pageant (Miss Sausagefest will be crowned).
