1954: Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn and William Holden. 1996: Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond and Greg Kinnear. Tell me you've never seen a sadder demonstration of adjusting for inflation. Bogie plays the stuffed-shirt blueblood who can't bring himself to notice how the chauffeur's daughter has bloomed into enchanting gamine Hepburn; Holden is his playboy brother who does notice (and how!). Billy Wilder directed this breezy 1954 romantic trifle, which gets by on charm, elegance and star power alone. That sounds like a drag, huh? Part of The Belcourt's ongoing Hepburn salute, followed next weekend by My Fair Lady.
