As we started to crank out this week's picks, there was a cool morning breeze followed by the first day in a long time in which a man could simply open up a window, plug in a fan and actually feel relatively comfortable and dry. This broiling-hot summer will soon pass, along with Zeitgeist Gallery's superior, three-installment group show
Right to Assemble. If you missed the first two exhibits, we're not sure how you've been spending your time, but this last show promises to conclude the series with a bang. Featured artists include Vesna Pavlović, Brent Stewart, Phillip Carpenter and John Whitten, whose remarkable new portrait series makes use of graphite and sidewalk chalk as well as bubble gum and wine. We'll drink to that!
