Lamplighter's Theater in Smyrna is the Little Engine That Could of local community theater. The company is run by determined folks who draw large, enthusiastic crowds to their varied fare--musicals, comedies, classics--staged at a state-of-the-art facility on the campus of Smyrna Assembly. The group spreads its wings more broadly with its latest production, the world premiere of Middle Tennessee playwright Paula K. Parker's stage adaptation of the Jane Austen classic. Greg Wilson directs, and his cast includes Brandon Vestal, Phil Brady, Margaret Meek and Jordan Stephens. Composer Shane Atkinson contributes an original score.
Fridays-Sundays. Starts: Feb. 13. Continues through Feb. 22, 2009
