Plowhaus Presents: Heroes & Villains

Holy tie-in, Batman! With The Dark Knight obliterating box office records, what better time for Plowhaus to host an art show featuring your favorite comic book and film saviors and slimeballs? Working in a variety of media, a slew of local artists—including Tracy Ratliff, Ayjey, John Newman, Andee Rudloff, John Holland, Barry Noland, Peggy Bonnington and 16 others—deify, lampoon and otherwise manipulate legendary do-gooders and evildoers for your viewing pleasure. And from the samples we've seen, it looks like more than fun the Joker's disappearing pencil trick. (Speaking of which, Marlynda Augelli's shadowy rendering of Caesar Romero's Joker will surely have you 40- and 50-somethings longing for a package of Oreos and that cozy spot on your parents' shag carpeting.)
