Plowhaus Presents Divide and Conqure at Tennessee Art League

Vini Vidi Vici

Vini Vidi Vici
Plowhaus Artist's Cooperative brings the noise to the First Saturday Gallery Crawl with an exhibit of new work by Hunt Adams and DJ Justice. Unlike the group shows we have come to expect from Plowhaus, this one offers viewers an opportunity to compare and contrast the two artists directly. Adams' biomorphic canvases are equal parts sinister and sinewy, his twisted figures displayed prominently against contrasting backgrounds. DJ Justice applies mix-master skills to his visual work, including found objects in his multimedia collages, creating everything from kitschy wall sculpture to graphic-inspired works on paper. Like any Plowhaus event, this opening runs late. If it's not your first stop, make it your last.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: May 2. Continues through May 28, 2009
