People still affectionately refer to Peter Heidenreich as ”Arena Man.“
But the 25-year Metro Government veteran, who’s held administrative roles at the Metro Public Works Department, at the downtown Arena during its construction, and most recently as a projects guy for the city, is leaving his comfortable government job to become a partner at the local governmental and public relations firm, the Ingram Group.
Heidenreichone of Metro’s more personable bureaucrats despite being charged with some of the city’s most complex and unpopular projectsis expected to lead the Ingram Group’s local lobbying efforts. He will also work to expand the firm’s government relations business.
The announcement of his move comes just in time for the company’s annual holiday gathering this week, which is looked upon as one of Nashville’s schmooziest.
Look for Peter by the shrimp platter.
