You get the rare opportunity to study with some of Tennessee’s most celebrated painters, and you won’t have to harvest your organs to afford it — not even that kidney you could live without. The Chestnut Group is an all-star club of plein air painters. Starting today, they offer a series of workshops that average about $50 per class. You can spend a day learning how to paint landscapes or figures, how to build compositions or transfer quick sketches to full-size works.
