Optimist Manifesto's Nearest and Dearest at Watkins

Cure What Ails Ya

Cure What Ails Ya
Nearest and Dearest is a new photography show by the Optimist Manifesto art collective. The Optimists are the good citizens who have, in the past, faced down a tangle of red tape and cop trouble to bring Nashville an extremely popular epic pillow fight at Centennial Park. If you have a better reason for doing almost anything, please let us know. And if the Optimists have a political agenda, it seems to be focused pretty tightly on that whole pursuit-of-happiness thing. The Nearest photography exhibit features work by Jessica Lynn Clay, Melanie Ann Clay, Caitlan Fleurette Dillingham, Courtney Ann Greenlee, Aprill Rene Miller, Sierra Faye Mitchell, Maximus David Shuster and Lauren Christine Willis.
Mondays-Sundays. Starts: July 16. Continues through July 28, 2009
