This meat-and-three dates back to 1948, when Marvin Couser opened the Log Cabin Restaurant in Tullahoma, TN. His brothers Norman and Tom also joined his business, but after placing bets on the wrong horse during the local sheriff's race, the Couser men decided to relocate to Nashville in 1955. A half-century and several Nashville locations later, Couser's still provides diners with the same delicious fried chicken, roast beef, and baked ham, all the while maintaining its warm and welcoming "We're-all-family-here" environment. Catering services and takeout are available.
