New Year's Eve Roaring '20s Party feat. Chubby and the Dots

When: Fri., Dec. 31, 9 p.m. 2010
Did you happen to catch Boardwalk Empire on HBO this year? It was a damn good series chronicling the allegedly true characters of Prohibition Era Atlantic City — so good, in fact, that we can’t help but think it had a little something to do with this year’s theme for Electric Westernʼs New Yearʼs Eve soiree. Sponsored by New Belgium, this spectacle features throwback aficionados Chubby and the Dots performing the wax-cylinder hits of the 1920s, The Old Time Photobooth Company capturing your very earliest 2K11 memories to film, and an encouraged dress code of dapper suits and flapper dresses — which merely suggests certain East Nashvillians will blend in a little more than usual that night. Throw in a few cocktails from a time when you had to break the law to get a buzz on, and you got yourself a vintage-style throwdown that could only fly east of the river.
