Using “Nashville Predators” and “beer” in the same sentence usually elicits visions of overpriced, over-foamed Bud Light in one hand and a soft pretzel in the other. But the Nashville Predators are challenging this image, at least for one night, with their first annual craft beer festival. The list of breweries participating puts the Music City Brewers Fest that took place only a couple weeks ago to shame. Yazoo, Blackstone, Jackalope, Hap & Harry’s, East Nashville’s Fat Bottom and Williamson County’s Turtle Anarchy will all be present. Other craft breweries from across the country will showcase their products, and the small local breweries definitely outnumber the large corporate names, like Blue Moon and Sam Adams, who will also be in attendance. Tickets are $50 for general admission and $100 VIP, which provides access to unlimited beer tastings as well as a ticket to a Predators home game.
