With an unprecedented number of selections from Middle Tennessee filmmakers, it really is the Nashville Film Festival this year. At age 43, the city's annual celebration of regional, foreign and independent cinema reflects an outpouring of local efforts — so much so that the festival's opening night, Thursday, April 19, has been largely set aside in their honor.
