Nashville Cream '60s Night at Mercy Lounge
Music That'll Make You Cream
Bands spend a lot of time trying to transcend their influences, but sometimes the best thing you can do is revel in them. With that as a guiding principle, tonights 8 off 8th marks the first of a month-long run curated by the Scenes music blog, Nashville Cream. Each night, some of Nashvilles best bands take on a decade of hitsand probably some obscurities too. Think of it as a month-spanning, live-band box set covering 40 years of music, popular and otherwise. Romping their way through the 1960s tonight will be The Clutters, Eureka Gold, Matt Friction & the Cheap Shots, Jacob Jones, Roman Candle, Millionaire Magicians, Ole Mossy Face and Kindergarten Circus.
