What do Dylan's Blonde on Blonde, Roy Orbison's "Oh, Pretty Woman," Waylon Jennings' "Only Daddy That'll Walk the Line" and a passel of hits by Dolly Parton, Charley Pride, Kris Kristofferson, Ray Price, Nancy Sinatra, Charlie Daniels and others all have in common? Guitar-slinger Wayne Moss. The session ace, songwriter and Cinderella Sound studio owner who got started as part of WWVA's historic Wheeling Jamboree in 1956 now gets his due as part of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum's quarterly "Nashville Cats" program. Series curator Bill Lloyd--who's also the Hall's stringed instrument curator and an indie-pop hero in his own right--will interview the lanky 70-year-old picker and show videos and play recordings that illustrate his career--including Moss' stint leading the legendary Nashville cult outfit Barefoot Jerry. Moss will also perform. The event's included in the Museum's admission fee.
