Music That'll Make You Cream: The '70s

That '70s Show

That '70s Show
Tonight’s riff on the 8 off 8th format marks the second in the monthlong series curated by the Scene’s music blog, Nashville Cream. With last week’s insanely fun ’60s night in the rearview mirror, the rock ’n’ roll convoy motors headlong into the decade that gave us punk rock, the Bones Brigade and Star Wars. Rolling their way through the hits and shoulda-beens of the 1970s tonight will be Turbo Fruits, Chris Crofton and the Alcohol Stuntband, Caitlin Rose, Tristen, Cheer Up Charlie Daniels, Heavy Cream, The Tits and Paper Navy. No cover for these covers, but come early to sign up for prizes, which include a $50 gift certificate to the Groove record store.
