Moonlight and Magnolias at TPAC's Johnson Theater

After wowing audiences with her performance in the recent Tennessee Rep production of Sweeney Todd, Martha Wilkinson moves into the director's chair for the Nashville premiere of Ron Hutchinson's Hollywood farce Moonlight and Magnolias. Legendary producer David O. Selznick has shut down filming on Gone With the Wind. In an attempt to salvage the epic, the movie mogul sends for noted screenwriter Ben Hecht and versatile director Victor Fleming, and the three set out to put together a screenplay that will make for a success. Wilkinson's small but mighty cast features Eric Pasto-Crosby, Pete Vann and Evelyn Blythe with Shane Bridges, who'd already made inroads with various other local companies, making his Rep debut in the Selznick role.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: Nov. 8. Continues through Nov. 22, 2008
