In terms of tunes that perfectly match the sweaty peak of summer in the middle of Tennessee, you can't really ask for a better selector than San Francisco DJ Miguel Migs — which is kinda weird, considering that it's probably 62 degrees and foggy on The Bay right know. We've always believed that deep house was the only way to go once the mercury starts slamming the triple digits — the tempo is propulsive, but there's enough wide-open space and chilled-out melodies to give the dance floor a lot of breathing room even when it's super-packed — and Migs is a master of the form. Creating and selecting tracks that not only make for a great night at the club, but also for great listening when you're just chillin’ crib-side, Migs manages to fuse soul, Latin and dub, electronics and live instruments into a smooth, stylish whole.
