Wanna start a zine, build a bike or go vegan? Microcosm Publishing--the country's largest zine distributor--is coming to Little Hamilton to school you on do-it-yourself skills that will have you publishing and pedaling in no time. Featuring commercial fisher-woman Moe Bowstern, bike mechanic Shelley Jackson, vegan chef Joshua Ploeg and Microcosm founder Joe Biel, the tour is a community education project, a propaganda experiment and a kick-ass party all wrapped up in one big organic burrito. Expect a sea shanty or two, yummy eats, and a screening of Biel's documentary, If It Ain't Cheap, It Ain't Punk: 14 Years of Plan It X. Fri., May 8, 7 p.m., 2009
