A Sylvan Park neighborhood fixture and a favorite after-the-game hangout for local softball teams, McCabe Pub is Nashville’s closest thing to Cheers. Everyone not only knows your name, but your brand of beer and how you want the Best Bacon Cheeseburger in Town (so they claim) cooked. The pork chop sandwich on an onion roll is a classic; they make the spicy batter for the fried catfish in house; and the hand-cut fries are addictive. Fried chicken livers with onions is another featured dish.
