Look who's all grown up! Crazy to think that this monthly dance party has survived four long, tumultuous years. Hell, when this monthly first unleashed its genre-destroying/defining sounds, the Great Recession was just a twinkle in Hank Paulson's underpants, tea parties were still the province of little girls rather than aging wingnuts, and Kim Kardashian was still a virgin. Kidding! Kim Kardashian was never a virgin! At least not during the timeframe we're discussing. Regardless, the guys from the Mashville crew — Mike Vulcan, Orig, Bateman, Kidsmeal and Wick-It — have grown as DJs and and artists over the past four years, and have helped unite and ignite the city's nascent dance community. Speaking of which, a hefty swath of that dance community is gonna be on the decks tonight, with Coach, Kevin Perryman, Hands off Sam and more joining the anniversary fun.
