Martin Luther King Commemorative Series 

Vanderbilt’s 15th annual lecture and event series honors Dr. King’s birthday and legacy. Dr. Wayne Riley, president and CEO of Meharry Medical College, asks “What Would Martin Think?” in his lecture on “Health Disparity and Health Inequity in America.” Noon at Light Hall, Room 108. Bob Moses and Rita Bender, two key civil rights movement activists from Mississippi, will give a lecture entitled “The Deliberate Denial of Education” and host a keynote address and candlelight vigil.
