Man Man at Mercy Lounge

On record Philadelphia's Man Man are a densely studio orchestrated psycho circus of unconventional instrumentation and kitchen sink arrangements. Their schizophrenic interpretation of rock music toils to find a happy medium between older influences like Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa and contemporaries like Melt Banana and Cattle decapitation. Live they are known to dance about the stage like a bunch of sugar-addled 8 year olds in a moon bounce while sporting war paint and Stewart Copeland tennis shorts circa the Synchonicity tour.
