Lez Zeppelin at Mercy Lounge

Occasional Nashvillian Robert Plant might want to watch his (elegantly arched) back. Lez Zeppelin, the world’s first (or at least first popular) all-girl Led Zeppelin cover band, announced in January that the group was replacing its Bonzo, Jonesy and Plant in an effort to keep the act “fresh” for fans—or so says the band’s own femme-y Page, Steph Paynes. Lez Zep is probably best known in these parts not for rocking (which they most certainly do) but for appearing on the 2008 Bonnaroo official press release a little higher than might have been expected—leading to numerous stories that the reunited Led was to perform. Until that day, Lez Zep will help fill your tank, if not squeeze your lemon.
