LeQuire Gallery: The Stable

When: Tue., June 21, 5-10 p.m. and Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Continues through Sept. 3 2011
LeQuire Gallery continues a summer tradition with a group show featuring every single one of the artists whom the gallery represents. The Stable is like tapas for art lovers — there are small bites of every style and medium with enough variety to suit any palate. Paintings, prints and sculptures fill every nook of LeQuire’s vast display: From Greg Decker’s bold, illuminated dreamscapes to Somers Randolph’s infinitely looping marbles to Brenda Stein’s celebrated wood turnings, the exhibit offers impressive depth for its wide scope. The private work of Hatch Show Print’s Jim Sherraden is a must-see for his army of Nashville fans. LeQuire envisions The Stable as more than an art show: The gallery will offer a series of interactive events — including camps for kids, supper clubs and workshops — to enrich the audience’s experience of the exhibit.
