Lend Me a Tenor

When: Thursdays-Sundays. Continues through Feb. 13 2011
Price: $10-$30
Ken Ludwig’s zany farce is an audience favorite, about a world-famous opera tenor whose commission to perform at the Cleveland Grand Opera goes disastrously awry. It’s bad enough that his wife leaves him, but then he gets mistaken for dead, and the opera's stage manager is pressed into understudy duty. The results, while a trial for the tenor, are a feast of laughs for theatergoers, with wacky characters, mistaken identities and slamming doors accenting the high-energy comedy. Ron Cushman directs this dinner theater production.
