King Khan and BBQ Show at Exit/In

Blood Brothers

Blood Brothers
With four active bands, each straddling a different genre, Arish “King” Khan is a garage rock renaissance man. The man behind The Shrines (soul), Almighty Defenders (gospel) and Tandoori Knights (Indian psych rock) is once again bringing his two-man garage-punk outfit to Exit/In for a night of cross-dressing and fuzzed-out, Buzzcocks-influenced punk. The King Khan and BBQ Show are hitting the Rock Block this time in support of Invisible Girl (the duo’s first in three years), which is bound to continue their trend of doo-wop-infused proto-punk. Local favorites and fellow genre-benders Those Darlins open.
