Kindling on the Shelf

The Tennessean recently reported that Bill Frist-doctor, senator, big head-has written a new book. Entitled Good People Beget Good People: A Genealogy of the Frist Family, it was co-written with a Tennessee genealogist, Shirley Wilson, and is on sale at Amazon.com for $50. The Tennessean report says Frist had been working on the book for about 20 years and wrote it for his family.

To be certain, we’re not sure why anyone else would want it. Here are some other possible titles he might have considered:

This Limited Gene Pool: How It Produced a Republican Majority Leader

When White Anglo-Saxons Meet White Anglo-Saxons: The Perfectibility of a Species

Whew! One Family’s Day-to-Day Struggle to Eke Out a Net Worth Above the $1 Billion Mark
