By the time Nashville realizes it once housed yet another international pop star, itll be too late to matter. Ke$ha, the Nashville native with the single name, has already transplanted herself to L.A. and bombarded the airwaves as the uncredited voice on Flo-Ridas hit Right Round. Shes also co-written hits with The Veronicas and Miley Cyrus, sung backup for Britney Spears, and appeared alongside Katy Perry in the I Kissed a Girl video. Now, with her debut due in early 2010, her first singlethe trashy, synth-driven, sweat-soaked Tik Tokhas peaked at #22 in the U.S. and #1 in New Zealand. Ke$ha plays a proper homecoming Wednesday night opening for the ever-noxious junkie-turned-rapper Mickey Avalon, whose foul-mouthed, electro-tinged philistine hip-hop is an ideal match-up.
