Ke$ha w/Mickey Avalon

Hey Mickey, You're So Fine

Hey Mickey, You're So Fine
By the time Nashville realizes it once housed yet another international pop star, it’ll be too late to matter. Ke$ha, the Nashville native with the single name, has already transplanted herself to L.A. and bombarded the airwaves as the uncredited voice on Flo-Rida’s hit “Right Round.” She’s also co-written hits with The Veronicas and Miley Cyrus, sung backup for Britney Spears, and appeared alongside Katy Perry in the “I Kissed a Girl” video. Now, with her debut due in early 2010, her first single—the trashy, synth-driven, sweat-soaked “Tik Tok”—has peaked at #22 in the U.S. and #1 in New Zealand. Ke$ha plays a proper homecoming Wednesday night opening for the ever-noxious junkie-turned-rapper Mickey Avalon, whose foul-mouthed, electro-tinged philistine hip-hop is an ideal match-up.
