There are endless possibilities for surprising yet thoughtful combinations of musicians here in Music City, and Station Inns been coming up with some great ones lately, including this trio. Stewarts a talented picker whos worked for Doyle Lawson and Brooks & Dunn, but lately hes been focused on singing his own contemporary-flavored songs. Stapletons the much-heralded frontman for The SteelDrivers, with a gruff R&B voice that trumps most of the country stars whove had hits with his songs, while Trapps a scattergun guitarist whos been touring with the Jerry Douglas Band, unfailingly meeting the challenge of switching musical gears at the drop of a hat. Your first response to the combo might be huh? but cool is bound to follow hard on its heels.
