How It Looks from the ha-Z-girl

Titans 20, Bengals 17

Tennessee has every reason to lose this game, which is why they'll win. That's how the NFL works. They're battered physically, and last week looked about as inspired as a paperweight.

The Bengals, by contrast, looked impressive in breaking the Broncos. Judging from that performance, you might expect Rudi Johnson to run for 200 yards against the Titans' patchwork defense.

But because they played on a Monday night, the Bengals have one less day to prepare for Tennessee, and they have yet to prove this season that they can stop teams or move the ball consistently with Carson Palmer at QB. The crystal ball is a little clouded, but it says Titans.

LSU 34, Vanderbilt 10

The Tigers haven't exactly been destroying folks in defending their national championship. Don't be surprised if that changes on Saturday—or if the final spread turns out to be much more than 24 points.

Tennessee 20, South Carolina 14

Look for another workmanlike performance by the Vols, who are benefiting heavily from one of the best coaching jobs to date by the still underappreciated Phil Fulmer.

Georgia 24, Florida 20

After the knee-jerk sacking of coach Ron Zook, don't be surprised if the Gator players win one for their lame-duck staff. Still, I think I'll keep my bet on the more talented Bulldogs.

Auburn 40, Ole Miss 20

Mississippi State 23, Kentucky 17

Oklahoma 27, Oklahoma State 20

Texans 17, Jaguars 16

Chiefs 34, Colts 31

Patriots 20, Steelers 17

This week, Aileen bases her picks on "action colors." (The team with the most red wins.) In the case of Auburn and Ole Miss, whose colors are both red and blue, she used the Auburn loyalties of her friend Lisa as a tiebreaker. Aileen also rationalizes picking the Titans over orange-and-black Bengals because of the red accents in Tennessee's uniforms. Season records: La-Z-Boy 32-18, Ha-Z-Girl 27-23.

Titans 31, Bengals 3

LSU 25, Vanderbilt 20

South Carolina 41, Tennessee 31

Georgia 27, Florida 24

Auburn 34, Ole Miss 31

Mississippi State 26, Kentucky 17

Oklahoma 56, Oklahoma St. 14

Texans 28, Jaguars 13

Chiefs 13, Colts 7

Patriots 19, Steelers 17
