Octobers benefit for Bluegrass Hall of Famer and bionic banjoist Eddie Adcock and his singing partner Martha was a success in part because of the give and ye shall receive principle, for the Adcocks and their former sideman, Diamond Rios Gene Johnson, have been tireless supporters of the homeless. This years Christmas show marks their 10th annual effort to help the homeless, and like past ones, it features some familiar facesstarting with the sponsors themselves and including Larry Stephenson, Jimmy Bowen and Tim Graveswhile adding some new ones. Among the latter, pride of place goes to the ever-reliable Riders In The Sky. History promises a slew of last-minute additions and surprise appearances too, along with the opportunity to rub elbows with a boatload of bluegrass stars who invariably come by for no other reason than to support a worthy cause and share some holiday cheer.
