Hold Me Closer, Tony Danza

Specializing in a combination of comedy skits, goofy song titles and brutal, technical metal riffs, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza have been showing metal fans across the country who’s the boss for nearly five years. Like a self-fulfilling ironic prophecy, it’s not uncommon for unsuspecting elderly ladies to show up at their concerts expecting the real-life Tony Danza to perform. Even better, before his talk show was cancelled, Danza actually booked the band as a musical guest but wound up only mentioning their name and playing a clip of one of their tracks during an opening monologue. Their much-anticipated third album Danza III: A Series of Unfortunate Events releases this year and they’ll be performing this Tuesday alongside The Faceless, Arsis and Misery Index.
