Viridian

Wanna trade your lush lawn for panoramic views? Viridian, the $70 million, 31-story urban condominium tower to be built on Church Street is already taking reservations. The luxury building will offer a myriad of amenities for urban-minded Nashvillians. There'll be an H.G. Hills Urban Market at street level, a rooftop pool, a fully equipped fitness center, floor-to-ceiling windows, all the latest tech capabilities and more. Viridian has designated 20 percent of its units as affordable housing for middle-income households. Of course "deluxe apartments in the sky" are priced at $1 million or more.

Find it: 415 Church St., 254-3325 orwww.viridiannashville.com. Prices on request.

The Cosmetics Market

Cosmetics and beauty store Private Edition has expanded into the bright, airy and completely shoppable Cosmetics Market. Besides featuring high-end skin care lines like Dr. Perricone, the Cosmetics Market carries professional flatirons and hairdryers, nibbles, and the most adorable gifts. First time shoppers get a 20 percent discount for the month of May.

Find it: 4009 Hillsboro Pike, around the corner from Private Edition. 292-8606.

Fluff stuff

Vintage pin-up girls and Mid-Century Modernism were the inspirations for Fluff, Claudette Barjoud's collection of ultra-sassy cards, notebooks, pajamas, purses and more. The Miami-based artist and her fiancé/partner, Jason Sallin, fashioned Fluff's irresistible dolly girls, frilly poodles and retro vixens with the intention to "make people squeal with delight."

Find it: Bags ($12 and up) and make-up cases ($14 and up) at The Cosmetics Market. 292-8606.

Cards ($3.50 each) and notebooks ($14) at bam♦boo, 2203 Bandywood Dr. 354-6488.

ME TOO and Wow slip-ons

When you need comfy kicks that are a wee bit dressier than your fave flip-flops, go for glam with these bendable, breathable gold slip-ons from Wow. Wear them with basic black, to dress up denim or to top off an '80s-inspired outfit. The ME TOO Layla shoes look and feel like Camper's, but are half the price. They add an instant touch of "hipster" to this season's tennis dresses and full, pleated skirts.

Find it: Wow Crush shoes $24.99 and ME TOO Layla's $44.99 at Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, 118 16th Ave. S. 255-5995.
