Haunted Valley at 12th & Porter

Hood of Horros

Hood of Horros
Regulators, mount up! Jim O'Shea, the muscle behind the hustle of indefatigable dance night Happy Valley, is taking over the intersection of 12th Avenue North and Porter Street for one of the biggest block parties this holiday season. With a hella-tight lineup starring G-funk originator and noted regulation advocate Warren G, the aptly named electro-house of Designer Drugs and the studious cool of Chicago's well-read Kidz In The Hall, Haunted Valley ups the ante for hip, happening horror parties in the heart of the city. Who doesn't love the combination of intoxicants, academics and regulatory guidelines—it's like being in Congress with tighter pants and better haircuts. Local DJs Sanchez & The Shockers, Coach vs. Kase, DJ Rod and Play Me are joined by hula-hoopin' hipsters the Spinderellas.
