When Dan Harmon walked into the NerdMelt Theater in March of last year, he had to know he was spelling the end for his tenure on Community, the impossibly brilliant NBC sitcom that he created. Somewhere during his hour of jokey self-destruction, Harmon broadcast angry voicemails from Community co-star Chevy Chase, and the Hollywood press promptly lost its damn mind. Two months later, he was kicked off his own show. And while that may forever be the legacy of Harmontown, the megalomaniacal town-hall-meeting-turned-podcast that Mayor Harmon is touring the country with, that barely scratches the surface of the madness that is Harmon’s show.
