Hank Williams Jr.: Full Access

When: Sun., July 25, 2:30 p.m. 2010
Now that the wildly successful Family Tradition: The Williams Family Legacy has been held over at the Country Music Hall of Fame through 2011, it seems as good a time as any to reconsider the other Hank. A strange an erratic career path found Hank Williams Jr. growing up on stage as a clone of his legendary old man and falling victim to drugs and alcohol before falling more than 400 feet down a Montana mountain. When he re-emerged after a two-year recovery Williams discovered an eager audience for his country/rock sound and steadily rode out a long string of hits that lasted through the 1980’s. Hank Williams Jr.: Full Access was originally released in 1986, and it follows Bocephus on stage and back stage, at home and at play, capturing the scion of a country music dynasty at the height of his fame.
