J.D. Johnson, a Nashville-area seafood wholesaler for the past 15 years, is the owner of this New Orleans-style po’boy restaurant serving a variety of sandwiches, including shrimp, oyster, grouper, andouille, crawfish and roast beef. Gulf Pride also serves oysters on the half-shell, gumbo, shrimp bisque, any fish available in its adjoining retail shop, and live crawfish boils when in season.
