The photographer mentioned in the blurb above is not the Steve Shapiro whose beautiful photographs are currently hanging at the GJCC.

don't know how Mel Davenport does it-such a steady hand. doing a black and white painting has to be the hardest painting to do. any tiny mistake would blare off the canvas. his work is perfection!
