Girl-on-girl anything usually grabs attention, and the “hottest female talent in the Nashville area” gathering upstairs at Mad Donna’s — the site of the old Radio Café — should (almost) suffice in lieu of the fantasy alternative. Writer/comedian Christy Eidson spearheads this attempt to exploit a familiar venue as a potential comedy outpost, especially for lady stand-ups seeking exposure. Most of this material would be considered “clean,” but the talent — Eidson, Jessica Carter, Leslie Nash and Holly Amber — will also branch out into slightly more risqué, edgier areas. “This is not going to be a run-of-the-mill, mainstream show,” says Eidson. “It's not going to be a bunch of female comics talking about their periods and man-hating. Personally, I love men and hate periods.” Drink specials and giveaways are planned. Peter Depp is the guest host.
