Although there are numerous one-minute film festivals out there, this one is our very own, and this second installment of the bi-annual event promises to be more thought-provoking than the first. When the Fugitive art group lost their exhibition space, it may have been a blessing in disguise. The group now functions as a free-floating curatorial body and its reach has literally extended to the other side of the world. Fugitive co-founder Greg Pond traveled the last collection of 60-second films all the way to Cairo, Egypt, and hopes for this collection are also running high. This year, 80 videos will show at 7 p.m. rain or shine. Gates open at 4 p.m. Suggested donation is $5. For more information about the festival visit fugitiveprojects.com.
