Oh, word? This is how we’re gonna do this? We’re not going to lie: Just the thought of seeing ’90s R&B powerhouses SWV gets us weak in the knees. We can hardly speak. We lose all control, and something takes over. We’ve been diggin’ on their latest album I Missed Us so much you’d think we were still wearing Cross Colours. While the ladies have been absent from the studio for almost 15 years, they haven’t lost any of the charm and talent that made them one of the best groups of the Clinton era. We. Are. So. Pumped. And when you throw in other heavy hitters from the New Jack days like Keith Sweat, Doug E. Fresh, K-Ci & Jojo and the two-thirds of Guy who aren’t Teddy Riley, you’ve got yourself one helluva show. Seriously, not just K-Ci, not just Jojo, but K-Ci and Jojo. We might have to bust out those Cross Colours after all.
