For the next three days, Food Network personalities Alton Brown, Pat and Gina Neely, and Bobby & Jamie Deen will be at the Opryland Hotel, pulling off a high-stakes caper right under the nose of hotel owner and romantic rival Andy Garcia. No, no; they’re in town for a weekend of cooking demonstrations, tastings, food competitions and personal appearances—but c’mon, tell me you wouldn’t pay to see Neely’s Eleven. In addition to the celebs—of whom only the Neelys maintain a local presence with their MetroCenter barbecue joint—you can watch exhibitions by Gaylord Opryland chefs Seth Kondor (Old Hickory Steakhouse), Forrest Parker (Cascades/Wasabi’s) and Laurie Potts (Wildhorse Saloon).
