FMRL feat. Jeremy Bible, Derek Schartung, Coupler & Tate Eskew

When: Fri., July 25, 9 p.m. 2014
If you find yourself swearing over and over again that there’s nothing new to see in Nashville — that everything is just some combination of cowboy hats, EDM bloops and skinny jeans hipsterism — FMRL is here to jostle you out of your comfort zone. The fringe music series spearheaded by experimental musicians Tate Eskew and Chris Davis marches on to explore the depths of noise rock, ambient electronica and more. This round of FMRL features performances by Experimedia founder Jeremy Bible, circuit bender Derek Schartung, local ambient instrumentalists Coupler and Eskew himself. Each performance pushes the boundaries of what music is traditionally understood to be, giving attendees a glimpse into the non-traditional. In other words, the Trolley Barns will never know what hit them. LANCE CONZETT
